SEX 101: Topics in Sexual Health and Sexuality

This course as you may have guessed, is about sex.  This is a vastly broad topic and the goal of this course is not only to inform you about various issues and topics in sexuality, but to provide a safe place for discussion, tolerance, and understanding. We want you to be excited about the topic and want to encourage you to explore sexual topics on your own.  We want to provide a diverse environment of all types of people. Our primary goal is to interact, learn from, and understand each other coming from various backgrounds and having different sexual preferences, ideas, and influences.  Our secondary goal is to discuss various sexual topics starting with the basics including anatomy, STI’s, and safer sex to sexual preferences, sexual pleasure, sexual technology, sexual fetishes, etc.  The course is designed for those will little to moderate knowledge in these topics. The course is facilitated by student coordinators and peer educators from the Sexual Health Education Program (SHEP). Enrollment Info:

Come to class on the first day on Wed January 30th to receive enrollment info. We can only enroll 33 people so show up on the first day! Be prepared to answer questions relating to your interest in the course. You do NOT have to have previous knowledge of the material. If you have extensive knowledge in the material (ie. taken FemSex) then you may find the course repetitive to knowledge you already have, but are still welcome to take the course.
